Yesterday, the football world was saddened with the news that one the greatest players on gridiron Ray Lewis announced his plans to retire after the conclusion of the 2013 NFL playoffs. Ray Ray started to see the end of his career when he tore his triceps against the Cowboys last November, but when platelet-rich plasma therapy didn’t go as expected; he would soon come to grips with his the end nearing.
He’s expected to play this Sunday as the Ravens host Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis
Colts. Baltimore is obviously expected to be the favorite but this is definitely going to be the last game Ray Lewis is going to play at M&T Bank Stadium.
Reports are that ESPN had inked Ray to a multi-year broadcasting deal for Monday Night Countdown … we’ll see.
